New Look for the Fall of 2009 – Focusing on the New Look Class A Shenandoah District

The new look Shenandoah District is open for business as the Class A district welcomes the Central (Woodstock) Falcons to the fold while Wilson Memorial packs up and heads to Class AA play. The new look gives then Shenandoah 2 teams in each of the 3 counties that sandwich Rockingham County.

Page County is represented by the Luray Bulldogs and Page County Panthers. Both schools are in the final phase of moving into their brand new buildings.

Shenandoah County now is the home for two schools as well with Central joining Stonewall Jackson (Generals) in the league.

Augusta County is now down to just two representatives in Buffalo Gap (Bison) and Riverheads (Gladiators)…

One of the pages on this site will provide you links to each of the newspapers that provide coverage while a second page will take you to each of the six schools websites. The goal is to combine the efforts of the media to create a site that will hold all of the stories and standings for each of the sports played by the high school athletes.
